Getting around Miami
Fly into Miami International (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL, 30 minutes north with lower fares). A rental car is recommended for exploring beyond South Beach. Uber and Lyft are widely available, and the Miami Beach SunTrolley runs along the beach area.
Best time to visit Miami
November through April is ideal — sunny, low humidity, and no hurricane season. Summer (June–September) is hot and humid with afternoon storms but significantly lower hotel rates. Hurricane season runs June through November.
