Getting around San Diego
Fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN), conveniently located near downtown. A rental car is recommended for exploring LEGOLAND, La Jolla, Coronado, and the Safari Park. Within downtown, walking and the San Diego Trolley are practical.
Best time to visit San Diego
San Diego is great year-round. June through September is peak season with warm beach weather. October through April is quieter with mild temperatures and lower rates. Even January rarely drops below 60°F.
